Stephen Carmichael Aitken, known to friends and colleagues as Steve Logan (or just "Steve A."), died Sunday, September 9th, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in Durham, NC from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He will be missed by many.

A memorial celebration took place on Panther Lake in Willow Spring, NC, where he last lived. The family would like to send thanks to all who attended. Pictures of the occasion can be found here.
